Staten Island Ferry: Free NYC Views of Statue of Liberty
Last weekend, I hopped on the Staten Island Ferry to enjoy one of the best free activities in New York City. The ride is short, fun, and full of amazing views. If you want to see the city skyline without spending a dime, this is for you. The ferry leaves from the Whitehall Terminal in Lower Manhattan. Getting there is easy. Take the subway to South Ferry (1 train) or Bowling Green (4 or 5 trains). From there, just follow the signs to the ferry building.
