I cannot believe that LaGuardia Airport renovations can virtually completed. Minor details still on the works. It was easy to get around and most important it was way more easier to get a taxi, Uber or Lyft at the conveniently organized waiting areas. Sorry JFK, but LaGuardia airport made this option better.
The renovations that have been happening at LaGuardia Airport in New York City are truly a game-changer. If you’ve been to LaGuardia in the past, you might remember it as a cramped and outdated airport that was long overdue for a facelift. But thanks to these renovations, LaGuardia is now becoming one of the most modern and efficient airports in the country.
One of the most exciting aspects of the LaGuardia renovations is the brand-new Terminal B, which opened in 2019. This state-of-the-art terminal features more spacious gate areas, modern amenities, and plenty of natural light, making it a much more pleasant and comfortable experience for travelers. And it’s not just Terminal B that’s getting an upgrade – all of LaGuardia’s terminals are being modernized and expanded to improve the passenger experience.
But it’s not just about aesthetics – the LaGuardia renovations are also focused on improving the airport’s functionality and sustainability. The new Terminal B, for example, is designed to be more energy-efficient, with features like LED lighting and a rainwater harvesting system. And the entire airport is being reconfigured to reduce congestion and improve the flow of passengers, making it a more efficient and streamlined experience for everyone.
All in all, the LaGuardia renovations are a much-needed upgrade for one of the busiest airports in the world. Whether you’re a frequent flyer or just passing through, these changes are sure to make your travel experience smoother, more comfortable, and more sustainable. So the next time you’re flying into or out of New York City, be sure to check out LaGuardia’s new and improved look!
Take a look a some LaGuardia airport renovations pictures I took during my last visit to this airport. I though it will never happen. There are also new coffee shops, small business retail stores and shops representing the borough of Queens.
